December 2021 Dino Dates

 

– Wednesday 12/1 to Friday 12/17 – Mitten Tree collections are accepted

– Friday 12/3 – Gift Card fundraiser orders due

– Monday 12/13 and Tuesday 12/14 – Dino Out at Primo Hoagies – All Day | Show the flyer or just mention DeMasi PTA when paying

– Tuesday 12/14 to Thursday 12/16 – Candy Cane gram sale! – Students may purchase candy canes to send classmates, teachers, friends or siblings in other classes. Details will be coming home soon.

– Wednesday 12/22 – Report Cards

– Wednesday 12/22 – Ugly Sweater and Class Parties – Wear your holiday/ugly sweater today and Winter Class Parties! 2:00-2:45pm.

– Thursday 12/23 – Winter Holiday Pajama Day and Pretzel Sale: Pretzel sale: Send in $1 cash if your child would like to buy a soft pretzel for snack

– Thursday 12/23 – Half day of school – 12:45 dismal | PTA Holiday Caroling- All parents are welcome to take part in a DES tradition. Come join us as we carol through the elementary hallways  spreading holiday cheer. More information to come.

October 2021 Dino Dates

SOCKTOBER all month long- DES will be collecting NEW adult size socks all month long to be donated to The Extended Hand Ministry to help those in need. Students can place socks in the bins outside the Elementary Office.

 

– Friday 10/1 – DES Spirit Day – Wear your DES shirts or school colors (blue/white)

Spirit Wear online sale coming week of 10/4

– Monday 10/4 – Spirit Day – Wear your favorite color.

– Tuesday 10/5-10/7 – Book Fair: Flyer with catalog was sent home with students.
   If sending in cash please put in an envelope with your child’s name on it.

– Tuesday 10/5 – Tie Dye Tuesday

– Wednesday 10/6 – Grade Color Challenge!

Kindergarten – Wear Red
First – Wear Orange
Second – Wear Yellow
Third – Wear Green
Fourth – Wear Blue

– Wednesday 10/20 – Virtual PTA Meeting 7pm – Virtual meeting-link to join will be sent out.

– Wednesday 10/20 – Dine out night at Chipotle  4pm-8pm (Rt. 73-Next to AMC)

– Monday 10/25 – Pumpkin Decorating Contest entries are due.
   Flyer will be coming home from Ms. Schaffer with all the details. * Students must be able to carry the pumpkin. Parents are not to come in to deliver them.

– Wednesday 10/27– Last Day to send in Coupon Book order forms!

– Friday 10/29 – Pumpkin Winners announced

– Friday 10/29 – Halloween Classroom parties – More information will follow.
